Fine Art

My art explores the human condition and the natural world. I am fascinated by the depth, complexities and details in all things.

My work is mostly figurative; juxtaposed with shape, tangible texture, and layers of depth. I work in a variety mediums including oil on wood, gouache, and watercolour - often incorporating mixed media and metal leaf.

Illustration

I enjoy creating naturalistic and stylized illustrations in graphite, pastel pencils, watercolour, and gouache. I am an explorer and love to create everything from traditional story illustration, scientifically accurate wildlife and botanical illustration, to large scale murals.
My background in animation allows me to create in-depth character and element designs, concept art, and environmental plans.
